In 2015, Pearl Homes became one of the first production builders to achieve LEED Platinum certification for 158 homes in Mirabella, a 55+ community in West Bradenton, Florida.

Pearl Homes changed the playing field by bringing LEED Platinum homes to the masses this project. It was even recognized as one of the five most innovative active adult communities 0f 2018 by 55places.com. Known for its energy-efficient home designs and environmentally friendly building practices, Mirabella has won numerous awards nationally and locally. In 2016, the community received the LEED for Homes Platinum certification for its villas, making them the first LEED-certified villas in Florida. Mirabella also won the National Association of Home Builders Best of 55+ Housing Silver & Gold Award two years in a row.

Mirabella has been honored with more than 20 national awards in the last three years, most recently the LEED PowerBuilder for 2017. During this time, the community has been recognized four times by the USGBC for Environmental Design and Construction and Honored with the SEBC Aurora Award two years in a a row. Most recently, Mirabella was named a 2017 USGBC ‘Power Builder of the Year’ for efforts to build and market the most sustainable homes in Florida. The Mirabella team plans to continue pursuing these same high building and environmental standards, so all new 2018 homes will receive the same quality standards Mirabella has quickly become known for.
